Previously, I worked for L&L Design and Production as a graphic designer handling projects for well known Australian organisations such as the Roads and Traffic Authority, Department of Trade, Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water and Randwick and Marrickville Councils. At L&L Design, my responsibilities included design and template management of various corporate materials, typesetting, print management, storage and back-ups, Quickcut usage and generation of Microsoft Word and Powerpoint templates. Predominately, I created a wide range of advertising materials for the RTA including full colour community updates and instore brochures, online business and financial plan documents, large format billboards, direct mail, newspaper advertising and Microsoft Word corporate documents.
Prior to working for L&L Design and Production, I worked as the sole graphic designer for Liquid Learning Group. Every month, Liquid Learning organise five or more corporate public sector events for which I was responsible for designing full colour conference brochures, email blasts, print and web advertisements, website listings and a collection of promotional corporate branding exhibited at all of the events throughout major cities in Australia and New Zealand. Here, I not only expanded my design and print skills but developed web design proficiency. When I joined the company, I received extensive training equipping me to design all visual elements, create interactive web content and maintain working parts and back ups of the Liquid Learning website.
Before my employment at Liquid Learning, I worked for Worldwide Online Printing where I was constantly in communication with clients. Many of these turned into long term customers who required my skills in designing layouts, creating corporate identity, print preparation, digital and offset printing, special embellishments/finishing, colour matching, style guide creation as well as redesign and restoration of existing work.
